Pampered Paws Grooming Salon is Ontario Chamber of Commerce business of the month, and is a “cut above the best”. Heather Benedict, Certified Groomer and owner is available to add panache and style to your dog’s step. Her business is located at 5933 Arbor Rd., Ontario, NY 14519. Benedict can be reached at (585) 267-6866, and specializes solely in dog grooming.  Benedict can also be found on Facebook at Pampered Paws Grooming Salon.

Benedict, a former Wayne Central graduate, always knew she was going to work with animals.  It was during her tenure employed in a veterinarian office, that one of her colleagues suggested dog grooming. As Benedict embarked on her studies at the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming, it soon became evident she found her career. “My teacher took an interest in me and invited me to work in her shop, Creature Comforts in Ontario”, she remained there for four years.

Benedicts’ Father offered to build a shop near their homestead on Arbor Rd. She has been at her current location four years. The salon offers full service dog grooming, including bathing, brushing, haircut, nails, and ear cleaning. Your beloved dog will enjoy a pampering experience, in a comfortable, safe, loving environment.

Benedict cares about her pet owners as well, and stated, “I’m willing to please my customers by going above and beyond” I’m very much a people pleaser.  I will accommodate my clients by helping to answer their pet questions. I also make them feel at ease and give them 100%”.

Business integrity is paramount for Benedict. “My parents, Bill and Jenny Benedict are just wonderful, hard working people and have instilled in me a great work ethic.  They are my greatest inspiration.  And, in order to remain a successful small business owner, one must continually work hard, remain dedicated, while practicing patience and kindness”

In her free time, she can be found enjoying her own treasured pets, a cat Missy and a five-year-old Yellow Labrador, Molly. Camping is a favorite family pastime, and during camping season her clients book ahead.

Benedict plans to remain in Ontario and “keep on grooming”.
