Sue Dziedziech is the owner and operator, of the 1546 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY location since 1999, and can be reached at 585-615-7475. Creature Comfortsoperates by appointment only.

Dziedziech, grew up in the 50’s on her families’ Berg Rd. Ontario farm, it is here her first love of animals began.  She started her initial business as a Pet sitter, in the 1970’s.  And still serves a limited client base today. In 1998 her career took a new path, after choosing not to relocate, but rather pursue a retraining offer from her former employer, “Lawyer’s Co-op”.   Her credentials include; Feline and Canine behavioral studies at Cornell University, and professional pet grooming certification from the “Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming”. Creature Comfort’s offers their customers, all breed cat and dog grooming, traditional and specialty pattern cuts on dogs, lion cuts on cats, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.

One of her greatest people inspirations and an influential force in helping to evolve the grooming business, was her “adopted grandma and best friend”, Ann Centro “Nanny”. Centro’s inspiring love of animals sparked Dziedziech’s main goal: “to coach and educate the community about animal rescue”, while performing numerous rescues herself each year.  Dziedziech’s desire for the animal community is never ending, it embraces dog fostering (52 dogs to date) and retraining. All of this while generously financing the spaying, neutering, and vaccinating of copious felines; before finding them their forever home.

If Sue can help she will!!! Her dedication to animals encompasses a 40-year span of volunteering as well as teaching (19 years at RIDG). The organizations Sue actively helps are: “Punchlines for Pets”, which raises money for pet shelters, “Pets Fur Vets”, they find homes for sheltered dogs and cats, within the military veteran community.

Business marketing for Sue’s Creature Comfort’s is easily repeat and referral customers, with high praises from local veterinarians.

Rounding out Dziedziech’s busy and interesting life is her artistic endeavors. As stated, “I have been a member of the Western Wayne Art Group since 1996. My artwork has been displayed at High Falls Gallery, in Rochester, Gallery 96, in Pittsford, Wayne Arts, in Newark, Rochester Contemporary Center’s 6×6 show, Ontario Walworth Libraries and the Galleryat Sodus Point (of which I was part owner).

Where does Dziedziech see herself with regards to her business in 5 to 10 years? “Continuing to enjoy my work and clients”.  That is truthfully a “creature comfort”.
