On April 4, 2024, the Town of Ontario Chamber of Commerce organized a ribbon cutting to celebrate the stunning renovations of Jimmy’s Lakeside Diner. Jimmy’s Lakeside Diner is owned by Niki Amaxopoulos.
The jubilant event was attended by many community members, town Officials, residents, Chamber Members and more. The love and support that was shown to Niki and her staff was incredible. Niki and her staff provided a delicious buffet of treats and food for everyone to enjoy.
Jimmy’s Lakeside Diner was opened in 2011 by her husband Jimmy. After his passing in 2020 Niki made the courageous decision to keep the restaurant open. The restaurant has recently been completely remodeled and is stunning. Every part of the building, from windows to booths, inside and out was updated and changed. The entire renovation took six weeks to complete.
Niki is humbled and proud of the support of her friends, family, and the community. This is truly a labor of love for her; Niki enjoys working and seeing the community come to the restaurant. Everyone stood by her through trying times and she is eternally grateful. Niki wants to thank her incredible staff, friends, and family. They supported and encouraged her through this journey. Niki says without her staff she would not be able to do what she does. Niki loves her staff and sees them as family.
Jimmy’s Lakeside Diner has brought breakfast back to Ontario! The diner is located at 6270 Lakeside Road, on the corner of Route 104. They are open Monday through Thursdays from 7:30 to 2pm for breakfast and lunch. Fridays they are open until 8pm. Saturday and Sundays you can stop in for a wonderful meal between 7:30 and 2pm.
