Meetings of the Board of Directors and Officers of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce are conducted once a month at 3:30 p.m. at Casey Park Office Building, 6551 Knickerbocker Rd., Ontario, on the third Monday of each month. The public and chamber members are welcome to attend.
The Ontario Chamber of Commerce had its beginning back in 1928 and was originally named the Board of Trade. The purpose was to promote town affairs.
Through the years the organization remained constant in its endeavors to help the town develop. Around 1945 the name changed to the Chamber of Commerce to become affiliated with the United States Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. Now, as in the past, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce remains dedicated to civic and business activities.
Programs and special events are scheduled throughout the year. Please check the Events tab for a current list.
You do not need to be an Ontario business or resident in order to join the Chamber. Membership is open to the general public and the same level applies for a resident or a business with annual dues of $50.00.

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce developed the Business of the Month program to recognize and spotlight the retail, commercial, home businesses, and industrial businesses located within the town of Ontario. The policy is also intended to recognize the role of the chamber within the community.
The following guidelines/criteria apply to choosing a business:

Business opened for at least 12 months

Recognition of new line of product/services/expansion of existing business
-
Priority given to Ontario Chamber members
-
Consideration will be given to business location/type of business in relation to month of recognition
-
Nominations or recommendations received may take into consideration customer service/community involvement and support and other business-related activities

Nominations are welcome from the public year-round. Please email the chamber at:

The program highlights one business in the Town of Ontario that has high ethical standards; outstanding business achievements; exceptional service to our community; and has supported local philanthropy.
The award is presented at the annual Ontario-Walworth Rotary Club “change-over” dinner usually held in June or July of each year.
