MEMORIAL POINT AT BEAR CREEK HARBOR

Memorial Point is located at Bear Creek Harbor in the Town of Ontario, NY.  It can be reached by turning north on Knickerbocker Road from NYS Route 104, traveling to Lake Road and then turning right.  Watch for the signs for Bear Creek Harbor on the north side of Lake Road.  It is also home to the Blue Star Mother’s Monument.

Memorial Point Memorial Circles are dedicated to all who perished while serving their country in the Armed Forces of the United State of America.  This memorial will serve as a timeless reminder of the ultimate sacrifice the these individuals made in the defense of our nation and to the broader cause of peace and freedom from tyranny throughout the world.

To purchase a bronze plaque in remembrance of someone who served in the United States of America Armed Forces, please contact the Town of Ontario Parks and Recreation Department (315) 524-7447 or go to www.ontariotown.org under the department tab for Parks and Recreation.  The plaques will be permanently fixed to the eastern retaining wall.
