Once the chemical portions are gone, the pavement loses its ability to bind the aggregate (asphaltenes). In addition, the pavement becomes brittle, having lost its flexibility.
With the use of specialized equipment, products, and processes, the Asphalt Rehab Technologies team chemically rehabilitates the pavement by reintroducing the binding components that have oxidized out. By doing this, they keep the pavement flexible, prolonging the life of the pavement.
